MY PONO HAD MANGE
"Living on Maui, my vet told me that my beautiful 4-month old male Doberman puppy, Pono, had the symptoms of incurable Dog Mange and that he got it from his mother. I needed a mange treatment because his back was missing most of its hair, his muzzle was covered in purple pimples and he looked almost as bad as this picture which is not Pono."
The vet recommended using Ivermectin injections but with no guarantee that it would fully cure the mange. She also said the mange was inherited and I should have my dog fixed so he couldn't pass it on to any puppies he might sire."
